By downloading, installing, or using the Sakinah application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Sakinah is a Quran reading and Islamic lifestyle application that provides:
Account creation is optional. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
The Quran text provided in the App is sourced from established, authentic digital repositories. We strive for accuracy in all Quranic content, translations, and Tajweed highlighting. If you notice any errors in the Quranic text, please contact us immediately so we can correct them.
The AiNoor AI assistant is provided as a supplementary educational tool. Its responses are generated by artificial intelligence and should not be considered as authoritative Islamic rulings (fatwa). For matters of religious jurisprudence, please consult qualified Islamic scholars. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated responses.
Prayer times are calculated using established astronomical methods via the Aladhan API. While we strive for accuracy, prayer times are approximate calculations and may vary from times announced by your local mosque or Islamic authority. We recommend confirming prayer times with your local community.
The App incorporates content and services from third parties, including audio recitations, translations, tafsir commentaries, and AI services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
The App's design, code, icons, and non-Quranic content are the property of Abu Adam. The Quran text is the word of Allah and belongs to no individual or entity. Audio recitations remain the property of their respective reciters and publishers. Translation texts are attributed to their respective authors.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Abu Adam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to reliance on prayer time calculations, AI-generated content, or any interruption of service.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon account deletion, your cloud-stored data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App or on this page.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
